Replacement Strings for the Auris 12-String Pentatonic Children’s Lyre

The Auris 12-String Pentatonic Lyre Replacement String Set is designed specifically for the Auris Children’s 12-String Pentatonic Lyre (model LDP), restoring clarity, balance, and harmonic warmth when strings become worn or fatigued.

This complete replacement set is matched to Auris’s specially constructed solid maple lyre body with its characteristic notched base and dual-bridge design. The string gauges and tuning support a smooth harmonic progression between lower and higher tones, preserving the gentle, balanced sound quality that defines Auris pentatonic instruments.

Keeping a spare string set on hand allows you to restring your lyre as needed, whether due to regular use, environmental changes, or accidental breakage. For best care and longevity, we recommend pairing replacement strings with lyre string oil, which helps protect strings from drying and oxidation.
