Ecologies Card Game – Food Web & Ecosystem Strategy Game
Build Food Webs, Balance Ecosystems & Put Ecology Into Play
Ecologies turns food webs and ecosystem relationships into a strategic card game where players build, protect, and maintain healthy biomes using real ecological connections.
Designed by a biology teacher, the game includes 77 unique organisms across 7 biomes. Players build functioning food webs with producers, consumers, predators, scavengers, and decomposers while working toward healthy, balanced ecosystems.
Biotic and abiotic factor cards can change conditions and disrupt carefully built food webs, so players must decide when to strengthen their own ecosystems, trade for needed organisms, or interfere with an opponent’s ecology.
The science is woven directly into the gameplay. As they play, children and adults work with food webs, trophic relationships, predator-prey interactions, biotic and abiotic factors, and ecosystem stability in a way that feels like a game rather than a worksheet.
A rulebook includes gameplay instructions along with an overview of the ecological science behind the game. Beautiful vintage natural-history artwork gives the cards the feel of an old field guide.
