Eurythmy Shoes for Waldorf Movement & Indoor Use

These classic black eurythmy shoes are designed specifically for eurythmy classes in Steiner-Waldorf schools and kindergartens and also function beautifully as indoor activity slippers for home use.

Made in Italy from breathable cotton, they feature a wide, comfortable strap across the top of the foot and a softly padded natural rubber sole. Lightweight and non-skid, the sole supports secure movement while allowing freedom and responsiveness in the foot.

Only two Italian sizes remain available. Once these sell through, this Italian-made version will not be restocked.

Material & Construction

  • Cotton upper
  • Broad elastic strap for a secure fit
  • Natural rubber sole with soft interior padding
  • Lightweight and non-slip
  • Made in Italy

Sizing Note

These shoes run small. We recommend sizing up.

For best results, please measure the foot rather than relying on standard shoe size.

How to Measure

  1. Place the foot on a piece of paper
  2. Trace the outline
  3. Measure from the back of the heel to the longest toe (in inches)
  4. Use the inch measurement to select the correct size

Size Reference (Inches)

European size / foot length

  • 28 / 5.94"
  • 29 / 6.14"
  • 30 / 6.34"
  • 31 / 6.61"

Important: Always size by inches, not by shoe size alone.

Final Sale Notice

Because this remaining inventory is extremely limited, these eurythmy shoes are final sale and not eligible for return or exchange. Please measure carefully before ordering.

Mercurius is transitioning to a new eurythmy shoe made in Germany.
The updated version is still made from cotton, still uses a natural rubber sole, and retains the wide strap design—now produced in Germany rather than Italy.
