What Is Kite Paper?

Kite paper is a semi-translucent craft paper that combines the lightness of tissue paper with greater strength and structure. Traditionally used for making kites, it is also well suited for window stars, transparent scenes, lanterns, garlands, and other crafts that combine color and light.

Looking for a Smaller Size?

If you’re working on more intricate designs or smaller window stars, our standard window star kite paper blocks in assorted colors are available in both small and large sizes and pair beautifully with this extra-large format.
