Brown Sheep permanently moth-proofs its wool fibers with Ecolan CEA, a non-insecticide insect-resist treatment added during the dyeing process to make the wool protein unpalatable to the wool moth larvae. Brown Sheep states that the treatment bonds with the wool and does not wash, rub, or dry-clean away.
