Along the shore, Tom and June discover a freshly uncovered cave in the bluffs. They call it their Treasure Cave just for fun — until they find seven beautiful pearls and a finely wrought golden chain hidden in the sand.

Tiptoes sets out to uncover the story behind the pearls, and soon a web of sea tales begins to unfold. The mystery reaches back through time, drawing Tiptoes and the children into the ongoing drama between the Sea King and his daughter.

Written and illustrated by Reg Down, The Treasure Cave is one of the more substantial Tiptoes Lightly adventures, making it especially well suited for children in grades 1–4. It can be read aloud to younger grade-school children or offered as an independent chapter book for confident readers.

Condition Note:
This copy has two very flat, but faint wrinkles on the back cover, so we’ve marked it down slightly. The book is brand new and the rest of the book is fine, but the back cover is not quite perfect enough to list at full price.
