Toverlux Preparing for Christmas Silhouette | Mhairi Hellbrandt

A Quiet Christmas Scene of Making, Decorating & Anticipation

The Toverlux Preparing for Christmas Silhouette by Mhairi Hellbrandt captures the small rituals that make the weeks before Christmas feel special. Around a glowing candle, tiny figures gather among winter greenery, berries, ornaments, thread, pinecones, and handmade straw stars as preparations take shape.

There is so much to notice in the scene without it feeling busy: a little mouse tucked into a blue cup, a child reaching toward the candle flame, another sitting beside scattered berries, and simple natural decorations waiting to be arranged. The soft blue evening sky and warm candlelight give the illustration a lovely sense of winter stillness and anticipation.

Printed on translucent material, the artwork becomes especially luminous when displayed in a Toverlux Magic Lamp or Magic Window Frame. Light passing through the illustration brings warmth to the candle, stars, berries, and tiny details throughout the scene.
