Wooden Rhythm Sticks
Handcrafted Wooden Music Sticks for Rhythm, Movement, and Circle Time
These wooden rhythm sticks invite children to explore music, movement, and sound through simple, hands-on play. Smooth, sturdy, and easy for small hands to hold, each pair can be tapped together, rolled, clapped, counted, or used to keep time with songs, verses, stories, and movement games.
In Waldorf-inspired homes, early childhood classrooms, homeschool lessons, and music circles, rhythm sticks offer a natural way for children to feel rhythm in their bodies. They support listening, coordination, bilateral movement, early patterning, and the joy of making music together.
Use them during circle time, seasonal songs, storytelling, hand-clapping games, early math patterns, or simple rhythm practice. Their open-ended design makes them useful for toddlers and young children who are just beginning to explore sound, as well as older children practicing beat, tempo, and call-and-response rhythm games.
Handcrafted from solid hardwood, each pair is made from cherry or maple depending on availability and finished with organic jojoba oil and beeswax. Natural variation in wood grain and color makes every set unique.
